Dr. Cunneen is an excellent surgeon. He has a fantastic bed-side manner. I found him to be very attentive, knowledgeable, and one who listens to the needs and concerns of his patients. I would definitely consider Dr. Cunneen to be one of the premier surgeons in Los Angeles, California.
My first impression of Dr. Cunneen was very positive. I feel safe with him. He answered all my questions and stated how important it is to ask as many questions as I would like. My impression of his office staff is great. They are very good about protecting the patients. Making sure the insurance is doing everything they are supposed to be doing. We need that. To know someone is in our corner.
Before deciding on Dr. Cunneen, I visited with two other surgeons that I considered because they were located much closer to home. After those visits there was no question as to who I wanted for my surgeon. Dr. Cunneen is friendly and cheerful. The office staff are great, they are friendly and efficient. Everyone there is quick to smile. The pre-op education is excellent and thorough. Dr. Cunneen as well as the nurses went over all the risks of surgery and explained what I could expect. I would give him and his staff a rating of Excellent. Thank you!
My first impression of Dr. Cunneen was that he seemed like a very patient person, he sat with me and we discussed the surgery what the likely outcome would be and he answered all of my questions patiently and throughly. I loved his office it is clean and well kept, and the office staff (although busy) were courteous and professional at all times.
I went for my initial consult and feel so comfortable with Dr. Cunneen. He is informative, thorough and very pleasant. I probably asked a million and one questions and he answered every single last one without hesitation. The nurses and office staff were also wonderful to work with.
Update 9/25/2014 – Still a fantastic and extremely competent surgeon. I felt relaxed knowing I was in excellent care with Dr. Cunneen. He performed my lap band beautifully and then performed my revision to sleeve with the same precision.
He was fabulous. He listens and he has a great personality. He is very patient, you practically have to let him know you are done talking. He is the best! He has fabulous bedside and office manner and great surgical competence. I am in health care for 10 years now, and he is a great doctor!
My first impression was that he was very competent. At my first consult, he was very patient and explained everything to me, not sugar coating anything!! I immediately felt comfortable with him and knew he was the right doctor. Everything about him was perfect. His staff members are also wonderful. Dr. Cunneen is the best doctor!!!
